Hunting is Cheaper than Therapy (-random T-shirt saying)

The other day a good friend of mine told me about a dream he’d had with me in it. He said he and I were just hanging out, and I was messing around on my computer and showing him Linux, but I was talking about it completely via hunter terminology– “Let’s just Auto Shot through this menu,” I said in his dream.

From now on, when I put my computer into Standby mode, I’m going to say it’s Feigning Death.

Hey, it’s only logical!

  1. Now that is what I call addiciton:) Good comparing with the standy-feign death there:) Let us make up some more hunter related PC terminology:)

Running Antivirus software – Set Pet Deffensive
Opening up several windows – Multishot the pages

  2. Is it just me, or am I not the only one who feels “well fed” after a nice dinner with friends instead of feeling “full”?

  3. So does that mean putting another 2 GB of RAM in my box is giving it Timeless Arrows?

  4. Disturbing. And you may have to come up with something for the Blue Screen of Death. Not that you’d see much of that with Linux. Perhaps the term “oops” would be more appropriate for you!

    Awesome t-shirt idea there, too.

  5. … Hrm. I think Blogger ate my comment. If it didn’t, this will show up twice.

Oh, my, Pike! It would seem that someone has been playing WoW a bit too much if they’re dreaming about that… but still! Rather entertaining, none-the-less.

I’ve yet to find myself using WoW terms… or, if I had, I just have yet to realize that I am doing so.

  6. There has got to be a way to change the default menu selections text. There just has to be.

  7. @stupid mage: I guess that makes sense, then.

@deluksz: I need to know how you did that. 😛
