Just a Quickie

The Twisted Nether Podcast, hosted by the two bloggers Breana and Fim, is going to have me on the show next week. What they’re going to be asking me and what I’m going to have to talk about I’ve no idea, though it seems to involve my pets (who are all considerably more well-spoken than I), so it can’t be all that bad, right?

Anyways, if you have any burning questions you want to hear me address (such as “How is Tawyn pronounced anyway?” or “Do VanCleef and Mr. Smite really merge into NegaVanSmiteMon* in Heroic Deadmines?”) then be sure to toss the fine folks an e-mail and let ’em know!

* I maintain that the third season of Digimon was one of the best things I’ve ever seen on TV. And I have no qualms about saying so.

  1. Third season of Digimon was a bit boring until the second half. I liked that they decided to make it seem darker and more emotional than the first two seasons. It was a very moving and touching storyline. (Bio-merge digivolution is amazing!) By the end of it, I also admitted that it was by far one of the best shows I’ve seen.

It kinda seemed that way for the first two seasons too. At first it felt a bit silly, but the storylines got really intense when the ball got rolling. I couldn’t get myself to finish the fourth season…just wasn’t really into it.

Digimon is much much better than Pokemon. No one seemed to agree with me though. 🙁

  2. While I do maintain that the Pokemon games were some of the greatest games I’ve ever played, it’s true when it comes to the TV shows that Digimon was much deeper and more interesting to me than Pokemon.

I never really got into any of the other seasons of Digimon (including the first two) even though I tried, for some reason they didn’t pull me in the way the third season did. I cried at the last episode.
