Informal poll– what is the first thing I should do upon hitting the big eight-oh?

I vote that the first thing you do is two-man Ony with your boyfriend. He sounds hot.
You should buy your lvl 80 skills 😛
Train freezing arrow and /facepalm at how worthless it is :p
Run Culling of Stratholme or Oculus. Both of those instances are really fun. (Some may disagree with Oculus being fun)
You should keep grinding mobs until your pet hits 80 too. >_>
But seriously, I vote you take a break and fish in the fountain because it’s fun. Or in the sewer for a chance at the giant sewer rat because he’s adorable.
Get the Argent Crusade, Wyrmrest, and Kirin Tor tabards if you haven’t all ready, and buy your skills!

Like others have mentioned. Buy your skills first! Get your tabards then run heroics!
Should grind in Icecrown and get the Ebon Blade vendor to open up, its a long chain quest, after that run heroics and instances. Reason why you should get EB first its the dps rep for LK, after that get Argent dawn since it has nice dps things too. Grind in Stormpeaks for Sons of Hordir rep, it has the shoulder enchants.
Heroics are a joke, so is 10 man naxx, vault of archavon and sartharon.
Hit 80 and regear for you level and do what ever you want!!!!
When your 80, that is part of the fun, doing what ever makes you happy.
You should definitely take screenshots first.
Two letters… AH. There’s some nice level 80 BOE blues that you can usually get for a relatively reasonable price :o)

LOL.. Honestly!? I’d celebrate, drink up!! Then relax for a bit. I was soo burnt out the last thing I honestly wanted to do was go back to some other grind, whether that be a Heroic or Normal Instance or anything. So I just decided.. You know what? I’m gonna go level up my neglected professions and just RELAX.. 😛

One of my guildmates hit 80 last night. We celebrated with fireworks and dancing outside Undercity.

I agreed run culling of strat, get a pally or Unholy TK tank, Balance Druid, Resto Shaman, and a ret pally to tag along and attempt the timed run for the drake mount. (basically any group with a lot of AoE abilities will do though)
After that try and figure out a good daily route. Can be somewhat difficult since a lot of the more profitable ones are spread out. But Icecrown is a good play to start.

Do the Sons of Holidir dailies in Storm Peak(I might of spelled that wrong). If you haven’t opened up that chain I would do that then. That is the rep you will need for your new shoulder inscription. There is no tabard for them so it is a daily grind which if you stay on top of it will take you a month to hit exalted. If you are like me it will take 3 to 6 months. 🙂
Besides that all the other ideas sound good. Make sure you do get those tabards.
Make sure you put in your third glyph.
You could also go back to your Death Knight. 😛
